Powered Recline and Elevating Leg Rests in a Folding Chair

The ComfyGO X-9 brings positioning features usually found on much larger power chairs to a frame that folds for the car. The backrest reclines at the touch of a button, and each leg rest raises and lowers independently, allowing you to elevate one leg or both, recline, or adjust everything together into a comfortable resting position. Whether you want to ease pressure, elevate swollen legs, relax during a long wait, or simply change positions throughout the day, the X-9 puts that control at your fingertips.

Independent Left and Right Leg Rest Control

Unlike chairs with a single elevating footrest, the X-9 gives each leg rest its own control. Raise only the left, only the right, or both together. You can also combine leg elevation with recline using the joint function button, which moves the backrest and both leg rests simultaneously. All positioning controls are built into the joystick, and an included remote control allows a caregiver to help adjust your position without reaching over the chair.

Supportive Seating with Included Headrest

An 18" x 17" seat and 20-inch seat height provide a comfortable, familiar fit. The included headrest extends the backrest height to 32.5 inches, providing additional head and neck support while reclined. The armrests flip up at the press of a button for easier side transfers, while the removable leg rests make getting in and out of the chair more convenient. Anti-tip wheels add stability, and the X-9 supports riders weighing up to 286 lbs.

Battery Options and Folding for Travel

Choose the standard 12Ah lithium-ion battery for a range of up to 10 miles per charge, approved for travel by most major airlines and cruise lines, or upgrade to the 20Ah battery for up to 16 miles. The battery can be charged on or off the chair. When it's time to travel, remove the battery, release the joint switch, fold back the handles, and lift the seat to fold the frame to approximately 30" x 19" x 29". Weighing 86 lbs without the battery, the X-9 is best suited to households with a caregiver or vehicle lift to assist with loading.

Smooth, Controlled Driving

Dual 250-watt motors deliver steady power at speeds of up to 4 mph. Five speed settings, a battery gauge, and a horn are conveniently integrated into the joystick. Larger 12-inch rear wheels and 8-inch front casters help the chair roll smoothly over everyday surfaces, while intelligent electromagnetic brakes engage when you stop. When a caregiver needs to push the chair manually, freewheel levers on both motors make the switch quick and easy.
