Having spent several years in the mobility industry, specifically providing electric mobility scooter and folding electric wheelchair, we came to a realization. Despite the growth in the market for compact foldable mobility products such as the Solax Transformer, Luggie, EV Rider Transport, Geo Cruiser, and Pride Passport, there was a persistent issue: many owners struggled with safely and easily lifting these folding electric wheelchair or electric mobility scooter in and out of their vehicles. We often heard stories of people resorting to using pet ramps or straining themselves to lift the scooters into their back seats. To address this problem and eliminate the risk of injuries resulting from lifting objects weighing 50-70 lbs (the average weight of an electric mobility scooter or folding power wheelchair), we developed the GoLite Portable Lift.
