At the touch of a button on the joystick or remote, the backrest smoothly reclines up to 55 degrees and returns upright just as easily. Whether you're taking a break during a long outing, waiting for an appointment, or relaxing at a park, on a cruise deck, or at a family gathering, the powered recline offers a convenient way to rest and change positions. A height-adjustable headrest is included to support your head and neck while reclined. For safety, use the recline function only while the chair is parked.
Two Quick-Release Batteries, Up to 19 Miles
The IQ-9000 uses two 24V 7.5AH lithium-ion batteries that work together to provide up to 19 miles of range per charge. Both batteries release quickly from the frame and can be charged while installed or removed for separate charging, making it convenient to recharge in a hotel room or cruise cabin. The batteries are designed for travel within applicable airline limits, but battery acceptance and requirements vary by carrier, so confirm approval with the airline or cruise line before traveling.
Joystick and Remote Control at Your Command
The digital joystick features an LCD display, speed controls, a horn, a battery indicator, and dedicated buttons for reclining and returning the backrest upright. It comes mounted on the right side but can be moved to the left to accommodate different user preferences. The included remote control allows a companion to drive the chair, adjust its speed, sound the horn, and operate the recline function from a short distance. This makes it easier to position the chair beside a bed or vehicle and adjust the seating angle without reaching for the joystick.
Seating Sized to You
Choose the standard IQ-9000 with a 17.5" x 18" seat, or the IQ-9000 PLUS with a wider 20" x 18" seat and a taller 21.5-inch backrest. Memory foam gel seat inserts provide cushioning for extended sitting, while flip-up armrests make side transfers easier. An under-seat storage bag keeps personal belongings close at hand, and a choice of frame and cushion colors lets you personalize the chair to your taste.
Folds for Travel, Rides Smoothly at Home
When it's time to transport or store the IQ-9000, release the lock beneath the backrest and lift the seat to fold the frame. Its aircraft-grade aluminum alloy construction keeps the standard model to 60.5 lbs with both batteries installed. For everyday riding, a 12-inch air-filled rear tire and an 8-inch solid front caster help cushion the ride, while the chair can handle inclines up to 10 degrees. Intelligent electromagnetic brakes help keep the chair stopped when you release the controls.
