Return & Refunds Policy
General Return Policy
At My Perfect Scooter, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you need to return an item, we offer a 30-day return window from the date of delivery for a refund of the purchase price minus any applicable shipping and handling and restocking fees provided the product is unused and in its original condition. Please note that return terms can vary by product and brand, please refer to the “Returns” tab on the individual product page for specific return conditions before making your purchase.
Important Exceptions & Exclusions:
Some items are non-returnable or have special return conditions due to customization or hygiene standards. These include:
- AFIKIM Scooters – All units are custom-made to order
- Pride Mobility Custom-Built Lift Chairs
- Custom-Built Power or Manual Wheelchairs
- Custom-Built Mobility Scooters
- Patient Slings – Non-returnable for hygienic reasons
Restocking Fee
Returned products are subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%. Please refer to the “Returns” tab on the individual product page for specific return conditions.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, which are non-refundable. If we or the manufacturer cover the cost of return shipping, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. We recommend using a trackable shipping method and/or purchasing shipping insurance, as you will be held liable for any damage or loss that occurs during transit. Please note that we cannot issue refunds for items lost by the carrier.
Order Cancellation
Order Not Yet Shipped:
If you change your mind before the order has been shipped or shipment processing has begun and your order is not made-to-order or custom-order, we will process a refund to your original payment method. However, a 3% chargeback fee will be deducted from the refund amount to cover the non-refundable credit card processing charge.
Order Already Shipped:
Orders cancelled after the item has shipped are subject to all standard return policies. You must accept delivery, contact us, and ship the item back to the correct address. Return shipping costs are deducted from the issued credit and a restocking fee will apply. Please refer to the “Return” tab on the individual product page to find details about the restocking fee.
Refund
Once the returned item is received and inspected by the manufacturer, your refund will be processed to your original payment method. While the inspection process may take up to two weeks, it typically completes within 5–7 business days of the manufacturer receiving the return. Please note that the refund will reflect deductions for shipping and handling, as well as the restocking fee.
Chargebacks
Our dedicated team at My Perfect Scooter is fully committed to assisting you in resolving any concerns or problems you may encounter. We consider ourselves part of your team and strive to provide immediate responsiveness. Our policies have been designed to be as fair as possible, and we assure you that we will make every effort to work with you and find a satisfactory resolution.
In light of this, we kindly request that you refrain from initiating a fraudulent chargeback, as it is considered theft and may result in potential criminal liability. If you experience any issues with your product, we urge you to reach out to us, and we will gladly assist you in finding a solution. Let's work together to address any concerns rather than resorting to a chargeback. We sincerely appreciate your choice to shop with us.
