Pride VivaLift Premier PLR-5900M Power Lift Chair

Pride Mobility VivaLift!® Premier PLR-5900M

We got this chair for my 91-year-old father who has back issues and limited strength in his legs. The power lift function is smooth and safe, and he says the adjustable headrest makes a big difference when he’s reading or watching TV. He even naps in it now instead of going to bed. It’s become his favorite spot in the house.

My mom uses the VivaLift! Premier daily. It’s great for seniors with hip or knee issues. She can now sit and stand without assistance, which gives her back a sense of control. The only reason I give 4 stars is that the chair is a bit large for smaller rooms, but otherwise, it's perfect.

We purchased the VivaLift! Premier PLR-5900M for my elderly parents, and it has been a life-changer. The lift assist helps them stand up safely, and the power lumbar and headrest make long periods of sitting much more comfortable. The remote is easy to use, even for my dad with arthritis. They both love the look of the chair too, doesn’t feel like medical equipment.

At my age, standing up from a chair used to be a struggle. With this VivaLift! chair, I can now stand up with minimal effort. It’s also great for naps, very supportive and soft. The adjustable back and footrest help relieve pressure on my lower back and legs. I wish I had gotten it sooner!

This is a fantastic chair, but I’m 6'3" and I do feel like the backrest could be a bit taller. That said, it still offers excellent support and adjustability. The lift function is smooth and dependable, and I love the zero-gravity feature. Overall, still a great purchase.

I was hesitant about the price, but now that I’ve used the VivaLift! Premier, I can confidently say it’s worth every dollar. It’s durable, comfortable, and gives me peace of mind. My mobility has been declining, and this chair helps me maintain independence while still feeling pampered.

I was worried a lift chair would look bulky or clinical, but this one is elegant and blends right into my living room. The Saville fabric is soft and attractive, and the chair is unbelievably comfortable. Pride really thought of everything, from USB charging to the powered headrest.

I use my VivaLift! Premier every day and it’s quickly become my favorite spot in the house. The adjustable headrest and lumbar support make a huge difference for my neck and back. It reclines so smoothly, and I can find the perfect position for reading or napping. It’s functional and stylish, what more could you ask for?

What impressed me most is how stylish this chair is—it doesn’t scream “medical device.” The soft-touch fabric feels luxurious, and the chair offers excellent support in all the right places. I especially enjoy the zero gravity position, which really helps with circulation and back relief.

This chair feels like something from a luxury furniture showroom. The infinite positioning, power lift, and zero-gravity option are top-notch. I have arthritis, and this chair helps me get comfortable fast and stand up without stress on my joints. Bonus: The hidden cup holder is a clever touch.

This is a great chair, but it did take me a few days to learn all the remote functions. Now that I’ve got it down, I couldn’t be happier. It’s extremely comfortable and looks more like high-end furniture than a medical chair. Would have been 5 stars if the manual had a bit more clarity on setup.

I bought this chair after hip surgery, and it’s been a lifesaver. Getting in and out is effortless with the lift function. The padding is just right, firm but comfortable, and the adjustable footrest and backrest make long sitting sessions very manageable. Bonus: the USB charger and hidden cup holder are genius additions.

The VivaLift! Premier PLR-5900M is everything I hoped for. The chair is not only supportive but also looks great in my living room. I love the infinite positioning, it lets me find the perfect angle whether I’m reading or sleeping. The power headrest and lumbar give excellent support, and the lift function is smooth and quiet. It’s a great blend of function and luxury.
